Jamie Alimorad Earns 2 New Music Awards Nominations
Singer/Songwriter Jamie Alimorad has been nominated for 2 New Music Awards – AC New Artist of the Year and AC Breakthrough Artist of the Year. His breakthrough album This Is Tomorrow Calling continues to enjoy critical and commercial success.
The lead single “Not Ready To Say Goodbye” climbed to #5 on the New Music Weekly Indie AC/Hot AC, #13 AC/Hot AC, #7 AC/Hot AC Western Regional, and #29 Hot 100 charts respectively, while the followup, “Brighter Days”, peaked at #5 Indie AC/Hot AC, #11 AC/Hot AC, #3 AC/Hot Radio Western Regional, and #27 Hot 100 charts respectively. Both singles also charted on the New Music Weekly Top 40, Indie Top 40, Country, and Country Digital charts. Alimorad’s chart success continued internationally with both singles hitting #1 on the KB Radio Top 40 (Canada), and #1 on Heart of Indie Radio (New Zealand).
The two New Music Awards nominations continue a flourishing awards season for Alimorad. His accolades include, winner of the 24th Annual USA Songwriting Competition (Song of the Year, Best Pop Song, Songwriter of the Year), nominations 2021 Hollywood Music and Media Awards (Best Male Vocal, Independent Music Video of the Year), and consideration in 6 categories, including Best New Artist and Record of the Year, for the 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards.
